This is the easiest meatloaf recipe you will ever find. And it's good! I promise! One pan, great for rushed weeknights and great for leftovers. I have made no secret about my distaste for cooking. Decorate your house, fold your laundry, clean your room? No problem. Cook? Um, no. Of course, I do have a family and they do have to eat, but whenever possible I take the fast route and cheat my way to dinner prep. My super easy meatloaf recipe is no exception. I use one pan, a few simple ingredients and I am guaranteed a meal that everyone will eat, in no time at all.
Rain boot decor is all the rage. Turn your boots into a vase and make a pretty arrangement for spring that looks great inside or out. Check out a few of my ideas and some great boots, too! A few years ago, I was looking for something different to add to my front door to welcome spring, when I came across a pair of my kids' old rubber rain boots in the back of the closet. They were the teeniest pair of navy boots with little rainbow people on them and they just screamed out to be on display.
When it comes to decorating your home, the details do matter. Don't settle for less than perfect. I say, if you can't find the right accessory on the shelf, you can make it right with a quick, inexpensive and easy swap. When it comes to decorating, I have always firmly believed that the devil is in the details. If you don't believe me, watch any renovation show. It's all about the reveal. You know, the part of the episode where they show the finished room. You've already seen most of the space by then, but the real drama and style is provided by the furniture and the accessories. Details.
My laundry room is not pretty. Not even close. Honestly, you can barely even call it finished. That would be a generous term to describe its state of...decor. Well, decor might not be the right word either, because there really is none. Truth be told, it's just a small area in my basement that houses a washer, dryer, a cabinet filled with laundry supplies and a few bins for dirty clothes. Like I said, not pretty.
How do I craft on a budget? Let's just say I don't keep things around too long. I'm a fickle decorator, so last year's wreath may be this year's centerpiece. Crafting is my thing. It's my outlet and passion and I am lucky enough that I get to do it several times a week. Some people run, others like to cook, but not me. Nope. I am happiest with a glue gun in one hand and paint in the other.
I broke my soap pump. You know, the one that goes in the bathroom. I've broken a lot of them actually. Well, me...or the kids. (It's a lot easier to blame them.)
When my mom was widowed, people said that they were sorry, that they understood, but did they? Could they? I went to a wake yesterday. It was awful...forty something, married, kids, sudden and unexpected. Too soon, too young. So very, very sad.
