I recently took the Fannie Farmer cookbook to the grocery store with me to get the ingredients that I needed. It ended up in the back of the car. My girls have laughed and laughed at her name! It is a great cookbook! Life to the full! Melissa
Hahaha! You have no idea how I can relate...My grandmother's name was Persefoni, Fannie for short. Oh boy- I remember the giggles too! Maybe that's why I'm so fond of this cookbook! Thanks for sharing your story and bringing back some silly memories! Kim
The Betty Crocker cookbook is a go to for basics. I love Ina Garten's Barefoot Contessa cookbooks.
ReplyDeleteI will check them out! I can use all the help I can get! Thanks!
