Ten Fabulous Fall Decor DIY Crafts For Under Ten Bucks Exquisitely Unremarkable
 Oh fall.

While it certainly isn't my favorite season, being the devout summer girl that I am, I do love the extra time for crafting and decorating I suddenly have, as I'm forced indoors.

There's something about all those jewel tones that get my creative juices flowing. I think I do my best work in fall.

And I certainly do a lot of it.

I've rounded my autumn crafts up before, twice actually. I

n 2013, Six Super Easy Crafts For Fall and then three years later 20 Easy Craft and Decor Ideas For Fall.

That's a lot of fall crafting.

But a lot can happen in two years.

I've made a whole new batch since then. Perhaps you've seen them all, perhaps there's something new to you on the list. At the very least, I hope you find some inspiration as I share...

Ten Fabulous Fall Decor Crafts For Under Bucks

My most recent craft is an old cookie sheet that received a glam makeover with paint and cabinet hardware.

It can be used any time of the year, but at the moment, it's dressed for fall. Since I had everything on hand, except for the spray paint, this craft came in way under $10.

How fabulous.

Another early fall makeover recipient was this thrift store glass cutting board

It certainly didn't start out this pretty, though...but a little decoupage and a paper hand towel and voila! You can peek at the before and be the judge yourself.

Apples anyone?

When I wanted to swap out my summer candle ring, I opted for apples. A thrift store hurricane, an old grapevine wreath and two bags of apples for 40% off. Bargain.

Last fall, I realized that I had almost no turkeys in my house and what's fall without a turkey

So I made one.

I had an extra fan blade left in my stash, so I was set. And turkey painting? Super easy...I just harnessed my kindergarten skills and grabbed a brush. Gobble Gobble.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I whipped up a few festive pieces of fall table decor from old thrift store cutting boards

One dollar apiece plus one dollar for the sticker and a few bucks for the wooden feet.

Way less than $10, so I had money leftover for flowers and snacks!

Of course, after all that cooking, I needed to put my feet up in a comfy spot, like my pillow covered couch.

A cheap stencil and pillow cover from the craft store was all it took...even if it's not perfect.

Harvesting fruit is big this time of year and I was lucky enough to find a few old crates at the curb.

Of course, they didn't look quite this charming when I found them, but it wasn't anything a little diluted paint couldn't fix.

Instantly aged. For free.

The trash pile has is actually one of my favorite places to find craft supplies.

An old ceiling fan has turned out the be the gift that just keeps on giving. Beside Old Tom, who I introduced you to already, I made a sweet pair of Hello Fall wooden door tags.

I cheated my way here, but if you'd like to see the outstanding inspiration for this craft you need to pop over to visit my friend Susan at Homeroad

Ok, so woodworking is beyond me, but painting a pumpkin? I can do that

I picked up a few at the dollar store and since bright, neon orange doesn't really go with my decor, I gave them a neutral makeover.

At a buck a pumpkin instead of a pound, this was much more economical way to dress my cottage for fall.

What says fall more than a barnyard full of fowl?

It was killing me to think about this adorable stencil cooped in my craft closet, so I grabbed a plain placemat and got my stencil on.

Just roll and go and I didn't have to sell the farm to afford this one. 😉

There you go, all ten craft ideas, each one constructed for under ten bucks.

Honestly though, I'm not sure I spent much more than $10 to make them all. Between my craft closet, the coupons, the thrift and dollar stores and let's face it, the curb, I was able to round up a lot of treasure for next to nothing.

And what's better than that?

Where's your favorite bargain spot to shop?

Ten on The Tenth

Hey there! Before you disappear there's more fall fun coming your way.

It's time for Ten On The Tenth!

Make sure you stop by to say hi to my talented friends and see what they've got up their autumn {sweater} sleeves.

Happy Fall Decorating, Friends!

For me, in fall, it's getting crafty. If I happen to be doing it in front of a fireplace with some hot chocolate in my hand and an old movie on tv...even better. Happy fall!!
